Choosing the Right Mulch
Clients often ask what type of mulch they should use for their property and my reply is what type do you like! My personal preference may not be the same as yours, your spouse or significant other. I usually try to encourage more natural mulches instead of the colored ones as they tend to hold their color longer and look better as it gets older. Pine straw is another good choice for some and tends to hold better on slopes than mulch. But again, the best choice is the one that makes you happy!
